The Rhett is a mixed-income family apartment community currently under construction in partnership with Austin Affordable Housing Corporation.
When completed, the three-building complex will consist of 215 one-, two- and three-bedroom units targeting the general population, of which 100% will remain affordable.
The project is being built to a minimum 1-star Austin Energy Green Building rating and will endeavor to achieve a higher rating. The construction team chose to look at Termistops to provide a “reduced pesticide” application and meet Austin Energy Green Building standards.
Material Comparison - 465 Termistops plus 67 Termimesh Blockouts versus 5,893 gallons of termiticide that would have been applied to the soil.
